Luckily loading the source file into Basecamp and saving again removes the issue for me. Not sure whose fault is that. Something to look at.. So, I'm suggesting a few budget packs that I've tried and love. Full reviews to come later but they all get top marks from me. Just wanted to get these out before the summer trips start.

Remember also that Japan is tons of walking up and down stairs, hills, mountains all the time so lighter is better and internal frame pack is best so you won't stand out, and it'll feel a lot better for your back by the end of the day. If you're only staying at one or two hotels your entire stay forget everything I said and pack however much you want.
